Verify open circuit voltage and short circuit currents

Electrical Intake Position & Meter Point

There are no visual signs of burning, overheating or damage and no burning smell at the electrical intake position (usually where the consumer unit and electricity meter are located)

The electrical intake position and consumer unit are easily accessible and free from storage materials

Import meter appears to visually operate correctly

Solar Photovoltaic Protective devices and isolators

Protective device Operation such as RCD Test Button and other circuit breakers

To ensure free movement of mechanical devices and to check operation

Both AC and DC Isolators function correctly, are able to be operated and are effective

Essential for the safe operation of the system

Fuses, MCBs are intact

Conduits and cables are free of deterioration from UV or mechanical damage

Connectors and terminals show no signs of deterioration and are not not frayed, loose or corroded

Enclosures are adequately sealed and show no signs of moisture ingress
